Jenny Rolfe

Jenny Rolfe has been passionate about horses since childhood, spending much time observing herds of native ponies, learning about their nature and ways.  Over years she developed a love for competitive dressage but felt the methods taught could not bring about that all important connection she felt with ponies as a child.

Jenny then travelled to Lisbon with her Spanish stallions to train with the Chief Instructor of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art , Antonio Borba Monteiro and also Classical Mestre,  Luis Valenca. On her return to the UK, Jenny continued along this path of Classical Training.

One day, whilst riding her Spanish stallion, Delfin, she learned the amazing power of breathing as a profound connection with the horse. She believes that breathing and subtle changes in energy are the key to learning the language of the herd and harmony in riding.  The natural language of the herd is to connect with surrounding energy fields. Our own field of energy may be coherent or chaotic and building awareness of emotions and conscious deeper breathing will totally transform our connection with the horse. This experience formulated the beginning of a new journey-  Jenny ‘s philosophy is, to

‘Go not where the path may lead, but go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.-

Jenny is  the author of Ride From the Heart (book & DVD) and Breathe Life into Your Riding . Her third book Naturally Classical  will be available soon.

Jenny and her husband Barrie welcome students from all over the world- They travel from Europe, India, Israel, USA, Australia, Canada to learn with Jenny and her Iberian stallions.   Her teaching of BREATH-HEART-ENERGY connection is now recognized internationally.
